News from the Shows 2017
In July we travelled to the RHS Tatton Park staging a 15’ x 6’ display. The display, using over 300 pots of Disas . The display was made up of a mix of our usual reliable show varieties and a large number of new seedlings. The blend of varieties worked really well and we had a lovely display, one of our best. We appeared to be the most photographed in the marquee and we obtained a gold-medal.
The florist students of Bishop Burton College, also use some of our Disas on their display they looked really well in their exhibit. The college achieved top college in the Flora Street. We also had some Disas outdoors in the help for heroes garden, so Disas were well represented at Tatton Park.
After careful consideration we decided were not exhibiting at any RHS shows in 2018. We stage our first RHS exhibit at Tatton Park in 2006. Since then we have won: –
22 consecutive gold medals
3 best in floral marquee
Westonbirt Orchid medal
the Eric Young Trophy
2 Williams medals
2 Mrs River this prizes.
We are very proud of our achievements with RDs are displays they have given us great pleasure and we hope you’ve enjoyed our colourful displays.
Thank you for your support and encouragement, we will still be growing Disas and sending mail orders, also at the end of the telephone for your enquiries.
